Apple Store Emporia


During my 6 years at Apple I had the privilegue to participate in different projects. The Apple culture is strongly based in costumer focus and to taking care of the team of great coworkers. The way Apple is taking care of their personal and how they handle routines in the daily work is amazing. The spirit of good intentions and the positive thinking is something I will take with me.


The title of my role was Operation Specialist and it contained all part of the logistic workflow in the store. Besides that I was engaged in different projects wich I will describe below.


The coustumer journey is important to make every costumer feel welcome and recognized. So we started to take the time for how long the costumer had to wait before they had their new product they bougt in their hands. On top of that we also spoke directly to the costumer with their first name to make them feel like they had a special treatment. Different surveys showed that this behaviour made a higher level of satisfaction among the costumers.


Later I was responsible for my departments sheduling and had to make the best to please everybodys wishes regarding days off, working weekends and more. I got great feedback and scheduling got a lot easier and less time demanding with the schedule I made. A great benefit with my schedule was that it made it possible to know wich days to work and to not for a long time ahead.


My last year at apple I started to work with a project where apple aimed to give back to the costumers and especially to the environment. It was a certain program called Apple GiveBack. Here costumers got paid for their old devices while buying a new. That device was then sent to be recycled in a environmentally way. The work here resulted in a doubled amount of recycled products during the first half of 2018 and was recognized by other Apple stores in UK.
